Who We Are
Modesty Shorts is a high-energy charity rock and cover band based in the Boston/Newton area. What started as a group of friends jamming in a garage has grown into one of Greater Boston's most beloved live acts.
We play the classics that everyone loves — from rock anthems to crowd-pleasing hits spanning decades. But what truly sets us apart is our mission: using music to make a difference.
To date, we've raised over $40,000 for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and we're just getting started. Every gig is an opportunity to bring people together, create unforgettable memories, and give back to our community.
